Skin tint and SPF both serve different purposes when it comes to skincare and makeup. Skin tint is a lightweight, tinted products that provide a sheer to light coverage, enhancing the skin's natural appearance while evening out skin tone. It often contains moisturizing ingredients, making it suitable for a natural, dewy finish. SPF, on the other hand, is a measure of a product's ability to protect the skin from UV rays, which can cause sunburns and could later on contribute to skin cancer and aging. While some skin tints include SPF, their primary function is cosmetic, not sun protection. It's essential to use a dedicated sunscreen for adequate coverage, as relying solely on SPF-infused makeup may not provide sufficient protection, especially if applied in thin layers. You can find a skin tint suitable for your skin type in my Amazon storefront!
